We are currently engaged in a project to construct a flat deck RO-RO barge intended for service on a freshwater lake in Africa, with the goal of completing the vessel in a timely manner. The barge is planned to have approximate dimensions of 30 meters by 9 meters and will be designed to carry a maximum payload of 150 tons. Both the bow and stern will feature raked profiles and include access ramps for trucks and small vehicles.

The barge will be equipped with two deck-mounted azimuth thrusters, providing sufficient power to maintain continuous navigation at a speed of 12 knots when fully loaded, over a distance of 75 km.

To facilitate easier transportation by sea and road, as well as efficient on-site assembly, we are exploring the possibility of constructing the barge using modular pontoons of standard container dimensions.

Could you kindly confirm if your company is able to supply these modular pontoons? If so, we would appreciate it if you could provide a detailed drawing of the proposed barge design.

Additionally, we would be grateful for information on pricing (including any necessary locking systems), availability, estimated lead time for delivery, and CIF transport costs to Kampala, Uganda, via Mombasa, Kenya.
