Calcined caustic magnesia (CCM) production.

One of our clients is seeking a budgetary offer for the following scope:
1. Basic engineering, process engineering, and technology for a calcination system (multi-hearth furnace or suspension calciner with preheater)
Fueled by natural gas, with associated equipment for magnesite ore calcination. The capacity of the product MGO (CCM) will be 120 tons per day.
2. Supply of a system for upgrading magnesite ore to remove impurities (CaCO3 and silica) using magnetic separators, flotation, or XRF sorters.
3. Proprietary equipment supply for the calcination process and associated plant.
4. Cooling and milling of calcined caustic magnesia to <80°C and 74µ, respectively, followed by bagging in big bags.
5. Specialist supervision during installation and commissioning, operator training, and provision of manuals.
6. Two years of spare parts supply and technical support after commissioning.

The required systems include:

1. Feeding system, crushing, and screening unit
2. Calcination by multi-hearth furnace with preheater
3. Discharge and cooling system for finished product CCM
4. Grinding and classification unit
5. Dedusting system
6. Packing unit
7. Conveying and handling systems

The final product specifications are:

- LOI: Max 3%
- Activity of CCM (citric acid test): 65-70 seconds
- Final milled CCM size: 74µ
