Dear Mrs. And Mr....,
I advise the owner of an inactive 8 million tone Phosphogypsum landfill. I want to check the idea of fertilizer production with Phosphogypsum and potassium (and ammonium) chemicals to produce fertilizer - potassium sulfate K2SO4 ( or ammonium sulfate - (NH4)2SO4).
For the cost-effectiveness account, I need price data:
A) Raw chemicals - K2CO3, KOH, KCl and (NH4)CO3 and
B) fertilizers - K2SO4 and (NH4)SO4 or byproducts CaCl2 and CaCO3.
Particularly important is the price of raw chemical which would be consumed in the proces.
Finally, the chemical that will be chosen (use) for the fertilizer production process will be consumed in the amount of 20.000 to 25.000o tons / year (evenly distributed during the year). Delivery in the port of Ploce, Croatia. Thank you for your help.
Best Regards, Zdenko
