The Signal-4 device consists of a plastic explosion-proof case, which contains a battery, an alarm unit and a sensor (connected via an extension cable). Thermocatalytic sensors (modification for methane, propane, gasoline vapors and hydrocarbons) are used as sensitive elements of the sensors. Each alarm device is configured for only one gas and threshold concentration, in accordance with GOST R 51330.19-99. When the threshold is exceeded, the device turns on the light and sound alarm.
