We are currently developing an in-house display for our cooking device, Upliance, under the banner of Upliance. Ai, based in Bengaluru, India. As part of this development, the following items are included in our Bill of Materials (BOM):

The total BOM cost currently stands at approximately 39 USD (pre-tax and additional charges). However, our goal is to reduce this cost to a more sustainable range of 20 to 27 USD to align with our project objectives.

Notably, the System on Module (SOM) is the single largest cost factor, accounting for nearly two-thirds of the total BOM cost. To achieve meaningful cost reductions, we are open to exploring alternatives to the SOM, such as directly procuring the required chips and developing a custom circuit around them.
