Application Performance Characteristics
Glossy, ready for use, finish for PVC coated fabric and calendared film or foil.
It will used for typical billboard, front- and backlit applications. It assures good
Print definition, anchorage and drying speed of inks used for common print technologies such as Scitex, NUR and Vutek.
On top, it should have good anti blocking, plasticiser barrier, anti soiling, slip, abrasion and adhesion
Properties.
For obtaining a real high gloss appearance, it is highly recommended to emboss the lacquered substrate after drying, using a chrom
Plated high gloss cylinder.
One should however be aware of the fact that this post embossing process may have an impact on printability as certain surface
Characteristics do change.
Advise therefore is to check both options, prior to industrial upscaling.
