1. Introduction
We are seeking proposals from qualified suppliers for the provision of equipment necessary to produce Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) beads. The objective of this RFP is to procure high-quality, efficient, and reliable equipment that will be used in the production of EPP beads at three specified production capacities.
2. Scope of Work
The scope of this RFP includes the supply, installation, and commissioning of equipment required for the production of Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) beads. The required equipment should be suitable for three different production capacities:
500 kg/day
1 ton/day
2 tons/day
Note: This RFP does not include equipment for molding processes, and only covers the bead production phase.
3. Technical Requirements
The equipment must meet the following technical specifications:
Production Capacity: The equipment should be capable of producing EPP beads in the specified capacities.
Energy Efficiency: Equipment should be energy efficient, minimizing operational costs.
Automation Level: Proposals should include options for fully automated or semi-automated equipment, with details on the level of human intervention required.
Safety Standards: Equipment must comply with international safety standards.
Material Handling: Proposals should detail how raw polypropylene will be handled, processed, and expanded.
4. Proposal Submission Requirements
Proposals should include the following information:
Technical Specifications: Detailed specifications of the proposed equipment, including production capacities, energy consumption, and any additional features.
Pricing: A breakdown of costs for each capacity (500 kg/day, 1 ton/day, and 2 tons/day), including:
Cost of equipment
Installation costs
Any additional costs (e. G., training, shipping, taxes)
Lead Time: Estimated time for delivery, installation, and commissioning of the equipment.
Warranty and Support: Details of the warranty period and post-installation support services.
Previous Experience: References or case studies from previous clients who have purchased similar equipment.
5. Evaluation Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
Technical Compliance: How well the equipment meets the required specifications.
Cost: Overall cost-effectiveness, including initial cost and long-term operational costs.
Lead Time: The ability to deliver and commission the equipment within the specified time frame.
Support and Warranty: Quality of after-sales support and warranty terms.
Supplier Experience: Proven experience in supplying similar equipment.
6. Budget
The budget for this procurement will be determined based on the proposals received. Suppliers are encouraged to provide competitive pricing.
