The easy-to-use compact vibration densitometer VIP-2MR is designed for measuring the density of various liquids, including oil and petroleum products in accordance with GOST R 57037, ASTM D4052 and ASTM D5002.
The operation of the densitometer is based on measuring the period of oscillation of a hollow tube of an original configuration filled with the test liquid, and subsequent calculation of its density using the results of preliminary calibration for two substances of known density, for example, air and water.
