Medical Fabric, The fabric we are searching will be part of an arm cuff supporting the elbow movement. This fabric will be in direct contact with the skin, so it must provide a comfortable touch & feel. The final product will be used for medical purposes and is classified as a Medical Class 1 Product (only in touch with intact skin).
These are the detailed requirements for the fabric

1. NON-stretchable (meaning it must not stretch or stretch only very little if pulled)
2. Material: Preferably Polyester or Nylon, but we can accept pretty much any material or material composition as long as it matches all requirements.
3. Weight: Preferably about 200 grams/sqm, if the weight is more it is no problem, but it should be not less than 130 grams/sqm
4. Preferable knitting fabric, but if you can offer only woven fabric we need to see samples if acceptable
5. Colour: Light grey or dark grey or black. White color is only acceptable if all other requirements can be matched.
6. Surface must be smooth and soft, so it feels comfortable on the human skin
7. Need to pass Cytotoxicity Testing (ISO 10993-5: 2009) under 72 hours in 37 Degree extraction solution, Irritation Testing (ISO 10993-23: 2021), Sensitization Testing (ISO 10993-10: 2021)

Please note, that those manufacturers/traders who contact us with already existing certificates (ISO 10993xxx) will have priority. However, if the offered materials are already used for medical purposes we will also follow up and we will arrange the Laboratory testing.
