The EXFO MAX-730D Single Mode 1310/1550/1625nm OTDR offers 39/38/39dB dynamic range and OTDR only software. It is used for FTTX/PON testing through optical splitters up to 1X128, FTTX service activation, complete end-to-end FTTH characterization, and other applications. The high dynamic range makes it suitable for metro point-to-point testing up to 132 km. The unit has a 7" outdoor-enhanced touchscreen, 2GB of internal memory (20, 000 OTDR traces), two USB 2.0 ports, RJ45 LAN 10/100 Mbit/s interfaces and APC connector with swappable SC adapter. The Swap-Out connector can be easily changed. The OTDR features short dead zones, automatic macrobend detection, improved auto and real-time modes. 12 hours of continuous operation
