We are a France based company - Purchasing center of EU partners in Asia,
Currently, developing EV 2ND hand car project for one of our Africa partners, help them sourcing suppliers in China and do quality inspection of 2ND hand electric cars (used car, not new) before shipment, the cars will be shipped to Senegal, Africa.
Order quantity: A few cars at the beginning, reaching a maximum of 50 cars in the first year (FOB terms).
Currently, we are unfamiliar with the business of 2ND hand cars, especially for exporting to the oversea. I am considering the following points about potential suppliers,
1. Verify the supplier's legitimacy and the export capabilities. Kindly let me know your profile.
2. How to conduct a mechanical and technical check on the cars before export? Any idea and technical support beforehand?
Like Mechanical Check: Engine, brakes, suspension, and steering.
Electrical System: Battery health, charging system, and software functionality.
Exterior and Interior: Body condition, paint, and interior wear.
Documentation: Verify vehicle history, ownership, and compliance with export standards.
3. Product spec.
Brand, model, year of manufacture, and mileage.
Battery health and remaining capacity.
Vehicle condition (e. G., accident history, repairs).
Can we obtain a battery health certificate, as the battery is the most valuable part of the car?
4. Do you have other suggestions/questions to ask from customer end? I need to collect from your side, then check with customer.
I look forward to receiving your official response with professional suggestion.
Thank you in advance.
