- The pump is being used to cycle water for a hydroponic system in which plants will be grown. As a result the water may have a high salinity that the pump must withstand.
- There may also be small amounts of organic particles/contaminants in the water, though we will have filters to keep any large particles away from the pump.
- The required flow rate for the system is 1.5 L/minute for the system.
- The elevation from the pump to the top of the system is approximately 3 feet (see drawing)
- The water will exit through perforations in a tube along the top of the system (see drawings)
- The pump will run within peoples homes so low noise is essential >40dB
