Wooden Puzzle Product Line - Manufacturing Requirements

We are launching a premium line of wooden puzzles and are seeking a manufacturing partner capable of producing five distinct editions. All puzzles will be printed on wood. Our goal is to use eco-conscious materials and methods wherever feasible, while remaining realistic about local availability.

We will begin with a sample run of 1, 000 units of each edition. Upon successful delivery and quality review, we plan to move forward with larger production batches of 5, 000 to 10, 000 units per edition.

Puzzle Specifications (applies to all editions)

- Each puzzle will be printed on high-quality, sustainably sourced wood
- All puzzles must be produced using precision laser cutting or an equivalent high-accuracy method
- Use of soy-based or eco-friendly inks is strongly preferred
- Finish must be non-toxic and protective
- Two standard sizes required:
- 1, 000-piece puzzle: 50 X 70 cm
- 2, 000-piece puzzle: 70 X 100 cm
- All designs must follow these sizes exactly, with standardized piece dimensions
- We will deliver the final artwork files for printing on each puzzle

Packaging & Materials (for all editions)

- Packaging materials should be recyclable or biodegradable where possible
- Plastic use must be minimized or replaced with compostable or recycled alternatives
- All printed materials (e. G. Postcards, certificates) should use recycled paper or cardstock and eco-friendly ink

1. Single Puzzle Edition

- One wooden puzzle (50 X 70 cm or 70 X 100 cm)
- One artist information postcard (bio and contact details)
- Standard puzzle box made from recycled cardboard
- Printed with eco-friendly ink

2. Regular Edition

- Four wooden puzzles (any combination of both sizes)
- One artist information postcard
- Standard cardboard box fitted for four puzzles
- Compact and recyclable packaging

3. Collector's Edition

- Four wooden puzzles
- One artist information postcard
- Custom-designed puzzle box
- Elegant ribbon tie (preferably cotton or hemp)
- Numbered, limited edition certificate
- Packaging designed to be both display-quality and recyclable

4. Artisan's Choice Edition

- Four wooden puzzles
- One artist information postcard
- Custom-designed puzzle box
- Elegant ribbon tie
- Numbered, limited edition certificate
- Custom puzzle storage bag (organic cotton or hemp preferred)
- Puzzle glue (non-toxic)
- Set of themed postcards
- Premium packaging with minimal plastic

5. Master Puzzler Edition

- Four wooden puzzles
- One artist information postcard
- Custom engraved wooden puzzle box (sustainably sourced wood)
- Matte cardboard sleeve with previews of the four puzzle designs
- Numbered, limited edition certificate
- Custom puzzle storage bag
- Puzzle glue sheets (if available and eco-friendly)
- Puzzle glue (non-toxic)
- Set of themed postcards
- Large-format poster print of puzzle artwork
- Optional: Wooden puzzle frame with recyclable acrylic cover
- High-end packaging using sustainable or recycled materials

Additional Manufacturer Requirements

- All packaging must be suitable for international shipping
- Ability to serialize items (e. G., numbered certificates, engraved boxes)
- Preference for manufacturers with eco-certifications (FSC, PEFC, ISO 14001, etc. )
- Manufacturer must be able to scale production from small runs to 10, 000 units
- Open communication regarding material options, substitutions, and improvements is expected
