To make things simple, please see below full residential requirements.
ESSENTIAL
1. Design and Dimensions
Two-Piece Structure:
Split the sofa into two sections, base and backrest, to facilitate transportation through UK standard doors (typically 76 to 81 cm wide).
Each piece should be no wider than 74 cm to ensure smooth entry.
Dimensions:
Total length: 210 to 220 cm (sufficient for 3 people).
Depth: 100 to 110 cm for comfort.
Height: 90 to 110 cm (to maintain the gorilla aesthetic without obstructing visibility).
2. Material and Cushioning
Outer Fabric:
Use high-quality faux fur or plush upholstery for a soft, textured feel.
Padding:
Memory foam or high-density foam to ensure ergonomic seating while maintaining shape. Add extra padding to the arms and backrest to retain the gorilla's muscular look.
Frame:
Solid wood or a sturdy metal frame for durability and stability.
3. Assembly and Transport
Modular Design:
Ensure the back and base can be attached with heavy-duty bolts or interlocking brackets.
Dimensions of Each Piece:
Base: 74 cm (width) X 100 cm (depth) X 45 cm (height)
Backrest: 74 cm (width) X 100 cm (height) X 20 cm (depth).
OPTIONAL
1. Under-Seat Storage:
Split the lower section into hinged compartments to provide easy lift-up storage.
Gas-lift hinges for smooth opening and closing.
2. Armrest Storage:
Design hollow armrests with lids or side storage pockets for added convenience.
