Operating principle
The process of removing slag from scrap proceeds as follows. With the help of shop lifting units, scrap is loaded into a container, which is then sent to the working shop, where it is lowered into a special bath filled with process water. Then, a working electrode is brought to the scrap, which is located at the starting point of processing. After this, high-voltage electrical equipment is turned on, providing the formation of the required electric discharge, with the help of which slag cleaning occurs. During the operation of the unit, the electric electrode moves along the container, which ensures effective cleaning of all loaded material.
The process of generating the required electrical energy, maintaining the required gap between the high-voltage electrode and the scrap, as well as removing the separated sludge outside the bath is carried out completely automatically. After the scrap processing is completed, the high-voltage electrodes are de-energized and removed outside the process bath, and the container is lifted and sent to the unloading platform.
