The tank level meters will be installed on both new and existing fuel, water and wastewater tanks made of various materials that could include plastic, resin, metal, and in a wide range of possible geographical locations. Their installation and setting up must be easy and rapid, minimizing as much as possible the installation timeframes.
The meters shall be of the following types:

- Ultrasonic, consisting in a sensor to be mounted on top of the tank and capable to monitor continuously the distance from the top of the liquid.
- Hydrostatic, consisting in an external housing and a transmitter to be immersed in the liquid by a suspension cable and capable to monitor the pressure of the above liquid column.
- Radar, for fuel tank, consisting in a sensor to be mounted on top of the tank and capable to monitor continuously the distance from the top of the liquid

For flexibility, operability, and ease of installation, they will have to be:
- Suitable for chemically aggressive environments and liquids.
- Suitable for tanks that could reach important temperatures because of exposure to sun and heat.
- Of an adequate accuracy of max. 0.5% of distance for the ultrasonic type, max 1% of reading for the hydrostatic immersion type.
- Capable to communicate with a remote monitoring platform by Modbus RTU for the ultrasonic type and 4-20mA for the hydrostatic immersion type. Providing Modbus RTU communication for the hydrostatic type will be considered an improvement and therefore acceptable.

The ultrasonic and radar meters shall be supplied in three different sizes suitable for maximum tank depth of approximately 3 meters, 6 meters, 10 meters. The hydrostatic type shall allow level measure in deep well tanks with a depth of minimum 12 meters.

The installation of the meters shall be realized by threaded connection or straining clamp. Proposed meters with non-invasive connection type will be accepted.

The sensor for temperature shall be of the following type:
PT100 for different liquid (water of fuel) capable to communicate with a remote monitoring platform by Modbus RTU.
