We are currently in Germany building up a new network based on DVB-T2 transmission with no TELEVISION content, but RADIO signals only. We are imagining that DVB-T2 is better than DAB+ which costs too much, because the cheapest radio-receiver was just starting at 20, - USDollars, as we believe in DVB-T2 as standard...So we are looking for a company LIKE you which can build instead of a SET TOP BOX a real RADIO-RECEIVER...Just for AUDIO stations...Like we have 2 DVB-T2 transmitters in Germany...2 CHANNELS with each like 700 radio stations...Plus data-services for the mobile-applications, like we broadcast "TRAFFIC LIGHT INFORMATIONS...- the period / intervals of the traffic-lights, which is equivalent to TMC data-service on FM "RDS" information, being used by NAVIGATION systems in cars...For that reason our product lines should be:
1. ) Radio Receivers (based on the same chip you use in SET TOP BOXES) that we can even sell radio-receivers for already starting at 3-5 US-dollars...When we order 10.000 pieces...
2. ) a HIGH END radio receiver - in the format of 19" for the home-stereo-HiFi system should be ready, just for DVB-T2, DVB-C maybe...
3. ) a mobile version of having DVB-T2 receiver used with FM transmitter using a QN8007B chip to send RDS / TMC data like for navigation systems...Like even we are going to broadcast all information of every "PUBLIC PARKING PLACE - how many free parking-places for cars are available" which is called TMC extension on FM broadcast, but we use DVB-T2 and you should use the QN8007B chip to divert that for NAVIGATION equipment receiving DVB-T2 in cars, but give that data to the FM receiver using FM transmitter chip
C) I want that you imagine (if we provide all SECRET information of Audi, Volkswagen, MERCEDES, etc...- we are official partner of these CAR MANUFACTURERS) to produce a SET TOP BOX for cars to upgrade existing board-electronic to have DVB-T2 receivers for CAR RADIO used - receiving DVB-T2 radio signals...- and deliver it by USB for example or any other interface
D) we are imagining a DVB-T2 car radio APPLICATION for ANDROID...Or IOS...You develop...We are OPERATING the NETWORK...- THAT PEOPLE CAN RECEIVE "ALL OVER Europe" radio signals...- soon...In every country like 30 countries...In Europe using 8300 TRANSMITTER locations! ! ! ! ! !
E) We want that you imagine a WALKMAN solution...Like an iPod...For DVB-T2 music...
