- **Origin:** Certified organic according to European standards (EU Organic) and compliant with French food safety regulations.
- Variety Citrullus Lanatus:
Watermelon varieties similar to the Kalahari melon, including desert or rustic varieties known for their resilience and adaptability to arid conditions.
Watermelon with red seeds for preserves with green flesh, a traditional variety known for its firm texture ideal for jam-making as well as for candied fruits.
- Quality: Premium, suitable for human consumption.
- Appearance: Whole seeds, unhulled, red.
- Moisture Content: ≤ 8% to ensure optimal preservation.
- Purity: ≥ 99% (free from impurities, debris, or foreign seeds).
- Broken Seed Rate: ≤ 2% to ensure optimal quality.
- Foreign Matter Rate: ≤ 0.1% to guarantee product purity.
- Packaging: Durable polypropylene (PP) bags of 25 or 50 kg, or Big Bags (FIBC) of 500 kg to 1 tonne, clearly labeled with the product name, net weight, and certifications.
- Storage Conditions: To be stored in a cool, dry place to maintain seed quality.
- Exemptions: Seeds must be non-GMO, non-chemically treated, and sourced from organic farming where possible.
