The Goods and Related Services shall comply with following Technical Specifications:
Specification for Boiler water Tube, Super heater tube & bend, Air pre-heater tube and Economizer tube.

Technical terms & conditions:

A) I. Tubes will be cold finished seamless according to BS EN 10216-1: 2013, steel grade P235TR2
B) Tubes will be annealed up to 6 inch at both ends.
C) Tolerance will be as follows (which is not as per BS EN 10216-1: 2013)
OD + 0.1 mm
Wall Thickness + 0.1 mm
Length + 0 to 12 mm
Straightness will be 1: 600
D) Both ends of the tubes must be fitted with plastic caps.
E) Both ends of the tubes must be perfectly square-cut.
F) Test and test certificate:
The following tests to be done as per BS EN 10216-1: 2013 and the test certificates to be provided along with the shipping document.
I. The ladle analysis for elements specified as per code.
II. The mechanical tests (Tensile, flattening, drift expanding and hydraulic test).
III. Leak tightness test.
IV. The final heat treatment carried out.
V. The grade designation.
G) Packing:
I. The packing must be sea worthy.
II. To be securely packed in a suitable number of bundles strongly fastened by steel strip/ angle (mill and size wise separately).
III. The entire length of the tubes must be protected by anti-corrosive paint / oil against corrosion during shipment /transport and storage.
H) The manufacturer must be an international reputed boiler tube manufacturer.
I) The manufacturer of the tubes and bends must have valid and up to date ISO 9001-2015 certificate and the same to be submitted along with the offer.
J) Tenderers must submit catalogue/ brochures in original along with the offer.
