We are looking for a temperature resistant filling compound for the ACSS 202/26 conductor (with high carrying capacity).
Required characteristics:
- melting point above 250°C
- to contain hard metallic and non-metallic particles in order to increase the tensile strength of the conductor and to improve conductivity
- to seal the voids between the wires of the conductor and between them and the splice sleeve
HiTemp AFL Filler Compound has been suggested (attached documents).
From the substance sheet I did extract the follow ingredients:
Aluminum oxide (Al2O3) - 30-60%
Nickel-7-13%
Aluminum - 7-13%
