I would like the winch to be a capstan style that a rope can feed on and off of. The gearbox should be high torque the smaller photo needs to be able to hold 300-500kgs. Powered by the chuck of an 18V battery drill.
The larger version should be suited to 2-3tonne and powered by the chuck of a right angle drill. I will supply the drills for both item.
All rollers are to have encased bearings to reduce drag friction
