I am from Kansai Nerolac paints which is leading manufacturer of Paints in Indian market. We have powder coating lines across India where we manufacturer powder coating products.

We are looking for the alternative of filter bags/De-dusting filters in the form of Electrostatic precipitator for the collection of fine powder (Electrostatically chargeable as its application is done by electrostatic gun) generated during the process. At present De-Dusting filters collect all the particles and move them to reject line.

Our motive of migration would be

1- Fines collection which is not possible in present setup and reuse again in the process. At present it got mixed and of no use. We want to collect and re-use.
2- During Product changeover ESP cleaning shall be more efficient than filter bag it will reduce cross contamination in collected fines.
