I am wondering if you have any experience making a part from formed wood, or machining a series of these parts from a large wood block. The part looks like this - it is a simple profile that can be bent from 4mm thick wood, or machined in a stack from
I have attached images below and a sample image of the desired finish. I am flexible on the wood used so that we can find a good manufacturing solution, but bamboo and beechwood are common in similar applications.
If this sounds like something you are interested in, I would love to proceed with a quote for 2 prototypes, and a cost estimate for a larger production run of 150 units!
