My client in South Africa has been purchasing talcum powder from me for the production of baby powder, but there is a trace of asbestos content in our most recent shipment, which will be hazardous if the talcum powder is continued to be used. As a result, management has decided to substitute pharmaceutical grade corn starch for it.
The country' S total demand for talcum powder is approximately 500 tons per month. We will have a market share of 25% to 33% if both the quality and the price are acceptable. We load 22 tons in a 6m container.
For your convenience, the specifications, SDS for Pharm Starch, and COA for Food corn starch are attached.
The local supplier is unable to meet Pharmaceutical grade microbial specifications and must instead provide Food grade, which is of lower quality. Please give us pricing for both products. The microbial testing procedures are detailed in the specifications sheet.
