I am a veterinary consultant to a project consisting of the construction of a modern EU standard abattoir with three slaughtering lines for cattle, sheep/goats/deer and pigs. The abattoir should be able to cater for the slaughter of 15 cattle, 25 goats and 25 sheep/goats per hour. It should be complete with waste treatment plant and enable the full implementation of HACCP standards also in accordance with EU norms as spelt out in Regulation EC No. 852/2004, 853/2004, 854/2004 and 1244/2007.
The project is a turnkey project comprising supervision of works, supply and installation of all mechanical and electrical systems and full implementation of HACCP and certifications. Land is available.
